What Is The Most Annoying Thing That Has Happened To You On Your Visit To The Supermarket?

Recently a woman in front of me in the checkout had purchased a broom and insisted that she placed it on the entire length of the conveyor belt, and placed the next customer sign at the broom handles end.

She got into a hissy fit when I suggested that she held the brush upright so that my wife and I could place our extensive amount of goods on what would then have been an empty conveyor belt.

She has as much entitlement as you to use the conveyor belt!
Has you suggested to me how to behave in a supermarket, I too would have had a 'hissy fit'.

People who feel the need to nudge me along in the small of my back with their trolley if the queue is going slowly, as if that will speed things up.

I lean back quite hard and fast sometimes having had a sneaky peek over my shoulder to make sure it isn't someone old or infirm.

A checkout Lady nattering to a customer who obviously were her friend and passed her goods through so slow I'd have needed another shave by time I got there... I went to another check-out.

I have no idea why but it enrages me beyond reason when people use their trolley as a prop, leaning their upper body on it with bum in the air, steering with their elbows. Very often displaying their builder's bum as an added delight. Stand up straight, that man!
