It Goes On!!!

We decided to go to Abergavenny Food Festival today. Had quite a good run until we got near the town. The traffic was horrendous, just crawling stop start for ages. Got into the town along. With everyone else and suddenly there was clouds of smoke or steam coming from under the bonnet.
We managed to turn into a private car park belonging to some flats. Opened the bonnet, luckily it was steam. We had a split hose. OH went to petrol station 100 yards away to see if they had any tape to epair it but no go.
Phoned breakdown company. Said they would be 1.5 to 2 hours. They actually said if no one was with the car when he arrived there would be a £98 charge. So w couldn't even go and see any of the Festival.
There was a small section of it down the road but it cost £10 each for wrist bands and OH said he wasn't paying that to see about a fifth of the show.
So we bought more newspapers and sat and read.
Luckily breakdownman came after 75 minutes. He was reluctant to patch it up so loaded us on the back of his truck and took us to a garage near home.
The car was actually booked in there tomorrow for some other work.
He then took us home. So! What else is there to befall us?
