We just had pork steaks, home made fresh apple sauce...I just love that stuff... cauliflower cheese, and parmentier potatoes.
Half our family call the evening meal dinner, the other half call it tea. To save confusion I generally refer to it as our evening meal.
If we go out to eat, none of us say we're going out for dinner, we say we're going out for a meal, or an Indian, or Chinese, or let's eat out tonight.
Funny old world isn't it... personally I couldn't care less what it's referred to, just as lng as the food's good :)

Broccoli and Cauliflower bake - boring :( but Mr. J2 likes it. Followed by pudding of apple crumble. We call it dinner, in France it's 'le diner'.

Fish & chips tomorrow; Sat. a roast veg feast with gammon - eating out with family on Sunday, thank goodness.
Burnt black, sausages and a baked potato. I forgot the sausages

*white wine sauce

Doh.
Yes, Eth. I used it last weekend. I put a whole chicken in and left it for seven hours on low. I put it in the oven for thirty minutes at the end to crisp up a bit. Had it on a bed of wild rice and Chinese stir fry vegetables. It was absolutely lovely.
Question Author
Sounds tasty, pasta.
We had tuna steaks last week Ummmm, I love it, just have to remind myself to buy and eat fish. I love mussels too but he'd rather have nothing, hardly worth doing them just for me.
I only have a small about. The men need their carbs though.
Question Author
Pasta, why don't you eat carbs?
Glad you enjoyed your chicken Tilly.
