Sunday. Quite warm outside. I've been in the kitchen for the last two hours, doing the prep I should have done yesterday, but couldn't 'coz I was on the canal. my mate and his wife took me to dinner at The Anchor in Thornbury. I had the venison, cooked to perfection. I got home a bit after eight, didn't have the energy to do much, so went to bed early, managed a whole 4 hours in one go! Not done that for many years. I shall have to nip off to the kitchen every now and again to check on progress of the soup.

I'm going to be ready for bed by tonight! I'm looking forward to seeing the wee white tornado and her mum and dad.
