Really Frightening Experience Last Night.
10 Answers
I felt tired quiet early, and even though I sleep absolutely dreadfully every night, I still decided to go and lay down for an hour. I didn’t really fall asleep, apart from a couple of 5min periods, both of which I woke up drenched in sweat, even though the room wasn’t hot. I then sat up to get up and felt really bizarre. I couldn’t recall what day it was, or where I worked......so I’m sat there thinking what on Earth is going on?? Hubby comes upstairs and I tell him what I’ve just said, but he thought I was joking, till he saw how distressed I was getting. So he asked me what month it was - and I didn’t know that either. Eventually he told me all the answers but they didn’t mean anything to me. I’d not drank any alcohol and the day had been perfectly normal. For the whole time till I finally fell into a fitful sleep none of these answers came back to me.
I’m “back to normal”this morning but can’t get it out of my head. It really did frighten me and I’ve no idea what happened.

Could the sweats be 'just your age', as my mum used to delicately put it?
As you feel fine now, don't worry about it. I know it's a disconcerting experience, though.
