Good Morning Early Birds!

Tuesday. Dull and gloomy, not me, outside! It finally stopped raining last night. I hope it stays dry today. We shall see. Yesterday was a catch up on recorded telly programmes.
The back hedge needs a haircut, but it won't get it yet, too many wee burdies nesting in it, so it will have to wait until the little'uns have been booted out.
A trip to Wotton-under-Edge today, to my favourite organic shop. Might have lunch out while I'm at it.
Have a happy day everyone.

The family have deserted me for most of the day. Have been watching the guys cleaning the windows of the new Four Seasons Hotel opposite in course of construction. It's now nearly as high as the adjacent Petronas Towers and would you believe no cradles for the workers - they're dangling on ropes from the very top! Scary just looking at them. I guess the maintenance cradles will be installed later.
Just around the corner, there's another new build which is already higher than the Petronas Towers. So yes, Boaty things have changed since you were here.

One of the worst things is the traffic. Took nearly an hour for a taxi to get us to a restaurant last night and less than 10 minutes to get back. There's a lot of jostling for position, cutting up, pushing in - and yet absolutely no sign road rage and hardly any horn blaring.
I don't think a satnav would do any good if I drove here. You've got to anticipate so far ahead if you want to get across 3/4 lanes of traffic and I don't think a satnav would cope with that. Colleague here says satnavs keep losing signal anyway because of the high-rise buildings.
