As I applied for british citizenship last year and my ex gf accused me of rape and assaulting her but i am charged with only common assault and my case is in court. I am just worried as my mom is not well in india and i cannot go to India to see her as my application is still on go so that only reason i want to ask weather home office can hold my visa application un till my court case ends or as i was not convicted yet and last year i don't have any charge even when i had applied? so that all i am just confused can court trails come in to CRB and DBS check?

CRB checks no longer exist. DBS checks show convictions AND anything that a senior police officer deems relevant to the check. So it's a discretionary matter and we therefore can't provide you with a definitive answer.

PS: Simply being accused[i of something (even if there's no evidence to support the accusation) can be enough for it to show up in a DBS check.

For example, a teacher has posted here after finding out that his routine DBS check showed that he'd been accused of grooming a child for sex. That was despite the fact that he'd never been questioned about the allegation. (Up until the check results arrived he was totally unaware of it).

So it's [i]possible] that the accusation of rape against you could appear on your DBS check.

thanks Buenchico but i am only charged with domestic violence not rape so will rape appear in DBS. and can UKBA hold my visa application because of that because of that as i made application in feb 2018 and charged with violence in 2018. so can ukba hold my visa application un till court give its decision.
