So it does.
Yes
so she has
I'd love to visit the Book of Kells.
What's your point, AOG?
or your question, or your take on this news story?
Mamyalynne at 11:44 , well worth a visit. Stunning.

aog. I read the article and thought ... "And?" I don't know what you're expecting anyone to say.

Perhaps some of you don't know the difference between working and holiday breaks.
Ahhhh.......so it *is* a sour gripe.

Quelle surprise.....
perhaps the likes of you dont know the difference between a question and answer site and a "stataing what's in the newspapers" site?
The couple are making the visit at the request of Her Majesty's Government - I hope the trip goes well and they and their hosts enjoy.
aog, golly, what sort of holidays do you have? Being on show and herded from pillar to post for days isn't my idea of fun.
"perhaps the likes of you"

Here we go again.
When I go on holiday, I generally like to dress down during the day (although I always dress for dinner), I like to please myself what I do rather than have my itinerary planned by a government department, I dont really want to share my holiday with other people (apart from the OH) and I certainly wouldnt want to be meeting loads of complete strangers and listening intently to them before being whisked off to the next event. Hardly a holiday!
yep it's rude and objectionable isn't it YMB?
Yes, poor things, run off their feet .:-0
The fact it's sour grapes on AOG's part is obvious from the word working being in inverted commas.

I can't reconcile AOG's wish for GB to return to some non existent halcyon days and him slabbing off the royals.

I don't class them as Royals, what I do class as Royals however, are the Kings or Queens and their consorts and the next in line.

These are all part of our culture and tradition, not the number of off springs that are increasing day by day.
But the fact is they are royals.
So Princess Alexandra who has over 100 royal patronages is not a royal? Nor are the Dukes of Kent and Gloucester? Nor the Princess Royal. Nor in fact, according to your assessment is the Duke of Cambridge despite the fact that he is 2nd in line to the throne?
