Mule Handler Ww2

I know little about my father's WW2 experiences. He'd mentioned the Chindits, and I know that he'd been bitten by a mule as he'd been a mule handler. I know too, that he was in India at some point. I'd like to know where I can get information on The Mule Transport Company.
