2018 Highlights

We always look back on the previous year with mixed emotions and new resolves etc.
Personally, had a few setbacks including a friend dying on xmas day which really put a dampner onto the end of the year.
However I have MUCH to be grateful for this past year. Got voluntary work doing something which I love (and made a few new friends in the process) and maybe have the possibility of a paid job because of it. Theres been other things as well but this has been the highlight of MY year.

Walking to and managing to cross carick-arede rope bridge, finally being rid of Bert the hernia

Standing on a small sandbank in the middle of the most beautiful water I have ever seen. And the hot summer in the UK.

Don't know what getting rid of Bert The Hernia involves but it sounds like a relief ;-)

Finding out on my birthday that I am to become a great aunt...in three weeks! First of the next generation in our family, can’t wait.

Hey congrats Rockrose.
I remember watching two old nuns go across that years ago. And claiming they had deliberately shaken the ropes on the way!
Easily my highlight National Stadium Belfast May 5 ...!!

I’d like to do the giants causeway again and this time walk it instead of busing it. But I refuse to pay National Trust price
