What an absolute b**** of a day. First I took my darling cat to the vets. Symptoms I reported require further tests.

Loads of other stuff then I am driving Mr BM to the Stroke Clinic (He had a stroke on our honeymoon) big bang just as we were about to join the A1m. Tyre gone.

He tries to change the wheel (heck I was impressed at the way he went about it, was really made up) but unfortunately the bolts would just not go in. He wasn't happy for the car to be driven in that state.

Then a friend happened to be passing and he whisked Mr BM off to hospital leaving me to wait for recovery.

I'm in the middle of nowhere it's cold and I'm feeling vulnerable. Just as recovery call me a young man arrived. Can he help? I'm scared and worried and said I'm waiting for recovery. Well he says, i do this for a living!

Bless his heart he had the space saver on in minutes. Inflated it using his tools, made sure I stood away from it in case it burst, packed everything away for me and then refused the little cash I had on me for a drink. What a wonderful chap.

I slowly drove to next town to the tyre place where I was told they were too busy. Couldn't help it but a tear ran down my face. Blow me my car was next to be sorted.

We are home now. Car is ok. I'm ok. Mr BM is waiting for appointment. Asbo (cat) needs further tests but heck there are some kind people out there.

Horrid day. But sometimes humans can just make you feel.......

Sending you a massive hug BM.

There are some good folk out there.

Hope mr bm and Asbo are ok too xx
I'm just gently putting a hand on each of your shoulders and squeezing gently cos I don't know you that well. :-)
Sometimes it goes like that, sorry you’ve had a bad day. Today I’ve had to sign a permission slip for boy #2 (15 years old) to go to his school friend’s funeral, life is ***.
Somebody cares?....
Poor you. We all have days like that at times.
It's days like this, that we see the true kindness if strangers. x
Yey, rubbish, but what a kind young man. Your cat and mr. BM are with you tonight. Tomorrow after some sleep I hope you feel a bit better .,
Oops. Sherr, how awful. Sometimes our children are in situations * like funeral of a friend* we would rather they were not .
There is light on the horizon - it'll soon be steak and BJ day... ;-)
Geez oh, shoota, you’ve become very * forward* since you met that woman .
Which one would that be Annie?
A real Knight of the road, well done that man.

Sad Sherr - my Grandson's form teacher died suddenly last week, he was upset.
More than one ? ;*)
Yes, and so little time....
True, you could be dead tomorrow ;*(

Thank you all. We're fine. But there are some really kind people about. I've emailed the MD of the company (I took a pic of his vehicle when he pulled up for security reasons - how wrong I was) and offered my thanks.

Sherr that makes my day seem like a walk in the park. How bloody awful for you and your boy.

I was moaning to a mate and she told me she miscarried her baby this morning at about 5 weeks . For Funks Sake I felt dreadful for her. All things have a perspective.

Shoota. You'll have to wait til March. But unless Mr BM divorces me he'll be getting rib eye and my attention!
BM, sorry for making light of your day, hope Asbo and Mr BM are ok (scary when either is unwell - been there, got the t shirt). The boy will be ok, his friend just didn’t wake up in the morning, v sad (makes me want to squish my kids and not let them go),
Very sad. Can't think of anything worse.

Sherr I didn't view it like that at all.

I feel for your boy. A lifelong mate of Mr BM'S died in his sleep last week. It was a huge shock to him and he's in his 50s so I can't begin to imagine how you and your lad feel. Hug them tight xxxx
I do hope that your darling ginger man is okay - maybe he needs to sleep more and cut back on his killing sprees.

I am sorry to hear about Mr BM, I hope that there are no lasting problems.
Thinking of you. It never rains but it pours... :-( xx
I'm so glad your day turned out well in the end but it was a shame it had to start so badly. Good to hear about the help you received, there are brilliant people out there, we just don't hear as much about them. Hope all goes well with Asbo, great name by the way.
