TD - it had washed up on the beach, no net & no visible trauma but barely alive. I carried it as far as I could back into the sea but it didn't react & simply floated away.
I once saw (am remain firmly convinced that I did see) one of the Black Panthers supposedly roaming the countryside of Northamptonshire. It crossed the road in front of me.....so I stopped the car and went to see if I was right. It was only as I was clambering over a 5-bar gate into a field that I realised it might not be such a good idea....
Yeah but if you managed to get a good photo of the feline then you may become famous in the local area! I read a paper that said there was a jaguar in the Devon moors and I also read a paper that said there was a jaguar in the Yorkshire dales and then there was a paper recently that said there was a jaguar in Corby! I thought to my self, it must be that loon that spotted it.
I told Mrs JtH all about it when I got home that night and she called me 'something' in Glaswegian which seemed to be broadly in agreement with your assessment of me. :D
