I'm having Monkfish Saag and he's having ribeye steak and peppercorn sauce with fat chips.

I daresay I'll uncork a nice red, possibly a sangiovese, although I have a nice Aldi champagne in the fridge.

What's cooking and flowing at yours?

I'm having one of those days when I just can't make my mind up, in other words not really bought anything special as there's plenty in the fridge anyhow. When I have days like this I normally end up just picking at everything.

liver, bacon and mash when i can face it
Fish pie but with fresh tuna, salmon and prawns and as I can't drink this year just lime soda....
We've had an early lunch and because I'm doing a biggie on Friday we decided we'd have another steak casserole same as last week, grandson phoned afterwards to say how much he'd enjoyed it , his Dad had came to pick up their dinners from me

Large rump steak for me, medium rump steaks for the girls, quality oven chips and I'll find something green to go with them as I'm in the kitchen.
Creme de menthe or absinthe then!

That sounds healthy and quite filling, Tiggs.

Rocky, that sounds absolutely cracking!

I have days like that, Teacake. I usually just end up with a bit of bread and cheese.

Lovely, Lady J. I've not made Parsnip soup yet, but I did make parsnip, celeriac and chestnut with sage and thyme.

That was my late aunt's favourite meal, Emmie.

That sounds amazing, Rowan. Fish pie is one of my favourites. I made a big batch for the shout one the other week and it was all I could do not to grab a big fork and dig in.

Nice, Bobbi. I haven't made a casserole in yonks.

I hope you'll serve a nice few G&Ts with those, Baldric.
Meatloaf made with Stove-Top stuffing mix with a yam and some creamed-corn on the side.
