At the moment, a drive-in test for Covid-19 involves nothing more than winding down your car window and providing swab samples from your nose and throat. If this report from today's (Thursday's) Daily Star is accurate though, you might have to present the tester with something else instead ;-)

Interestingly, Dr John Campbell mentioned this in his daily You Tube analysis yesterday and gave a short explanation of the rationale for this form of testing:

from 19:20 to 23:23.

Dr John presents a well worth watching daily video lasting about 30 minutes commenting on the news and facts from around the world regarding the pandemic, which, looking at the comments, is viewed around the world especially by people not trusting the information coming from their official sources.
Although not an MD, Dr John has a PhD, first degree in Biology, and was an A & E nurse and nurse tutor. Watch out for Winston on the windowsill, who changes his face mask every day.
