I think you're confusing Gaelic football with Aussie Rules football, Helen. The latter doesn't seem to have any rules at all (or so it seemed to me when I watched it on telly in Oz), with the possible exception of "Thou shalt not kill" - but even that's somewhat flexible, I think ;-)
We drowned our sorrows with a few more at the end, Helen. The Mayo cousins were in a Corby club sharing a table with a Tyrone crowd. I got a photo of their happy faces holding up the Tyrone flag. Said I would say well done and congratulations on getting Sam...but not just yet.
There are rules which the ref seemed unfamiliar with...unless he's a closet Omagh man.
In truth I blame the cursing priest. If he was still alive I'd be using the wax and pins.... ;-)
Glad you had a good holiday...we're off to Westport in a couple of weeks. Been a long time....x
Hi, Claire. Yes, your mum told me where you live. Beautiful area. My family is further down towards Lough Mask in a remote and rugged valley but lovely still.
Won't mention the penalty. Ryan's a great player so let's hope he is there when Mayo pick up Sam.
Unless of course Kerry gets through..... ;-)
