....for once Ummmm and I would be rooting for the same team and not leg pulling about Kerry v Tipp.
I'll raise a glass to her and good luck Mayo.

Sorry RedHelen, JJ and the others from the North...let's hope we have a good game..... :-)

Apologies too to Dave who is on the wagon but I had to open a bottle for this....x

Hope it's a good one, bad timing Dave ((x))
We watched it to and I raised several glasses to Ummmm.
Did not understand the game at all are there no rules?
>>> are there no rules?

I think you're confusing Gaelic football with Aussie Rules football, Helen. The latter doesn't seem to have any rules at all (or so it seemed to me when I watched it on telly in Oz), with the possible exception of "Thou shalt not kill" - but even that's somewhat flexible, I think ;-)

"Thou shalt not kill" doesn't seem to mean much in Florence.
^^^ I've worked in pubs like that, 1ozzy ;-)
Bartender or bouncer Chris?
that's brutal and totally mind boggling 1ozzy..
Not something I'd sign up for Emmie
i would think not, its hard to believe that they do it freely and for no money,
Male pride;-/
that can get you beaten to a pulp, some pride.....
Yeah well, not my cup of tea.

We drowned our sorrows with a few more at the end, Helen. The Mayo cousins were in a Corby club sharing a table with a Tyrone crowd. I got a photo of their happy faces holding up the Tyrone flag. Said I would say well done and congratulations on getting Sam...but not just yet.
There are rules which the ref seemed unfamiliar with...unless he's a closet Omagh man.

In truth I blame the cursing priest. If he was still alive I'd be using the wax and pins.... ;-)
Glad you had a good holiday...we're off to Westport in a couple of weeks. Been a long time....x
Love this post. I am from Mayo so Mum was always a supporter.

My cousin Ryan plays for them (number 15)

We won’t talk about the penalty he missed though!

Hi, Claire. Yes, your mum told me where you live. Beautiful area. My family is further down towards Lough Mask in a remote and rugged valley but lovely still.

Won't mention the penalty. Ryan's a great player so let's hope he is there when Mayo pick up Sam.
Unless of course Kerry gets through..... ;-)
