(Or a dad for that matter...)
Loving every minute....
Never understood why my own father had tears in his eyes when presented with a new grandchild (13 in total)
Now I do. :-)
Just wished mum could have lived another 7 months to see my first grandchild...
They came over yesterday (Son & family), only 3rd time that we met as a family since birth.
Nothing but feed, sick, wind, yucky nappies, sleep, rinse and repeat for hours.
Loved it :-)
You have no idea how quickly they grow up
I carried my niece on hip at 11 mo around a museum....(*)
she is forty now

That’s lovely, nailit. I’m looking forward to my first grandchild due next month. I’m thrilled that my son has asked me to go and stay with them after the birth.
There really isn't:-). I told my daughter at 40 that I wasn't old enough yet, and she said "clearly you are".
Have 2 now of 5 years and 6 months, make the most of it... I knew you would melt :-)
