Man's Best Friend At It Again
Another innocent little toddler killed by dog - no doubt it's all part of the "unconditional love" the doggie brigade are always bragging about.

About time dog laws were tightened (e.g. Bring back licences: No dogs allowed in households with youngsters: All dogs to be muzzled in public places. . . . . ) but fat chance of that with the strength of the Dog Lobby in this country.

It is akin to saying that men sexually assault and kill women so all men should be kept off the streets and not allowed to freely associate with females.
The father of this child purchased a dog that he thought would make him money through stud fees. He then introduced this adult dog into his family. Whilst I am not saying that he is to blame for this situation but it was not a sensible thing to do.
I love dogs (as well as cats) but they are not inanimate cuddly toys. Humans need to understand the mind of a dog and never trust them with small children.

CaC, they seem to recently come from one though....
//The American Bully is in the Pitbull family, bred from the American Bulldog, English Bulldog and the Old English Bulldog. The American Bully is one of four dogs that come under the Pitbull-type dog umbrella. He is a natural extension of the Pitbull, which is why they are both very similar//
Although obviously put in the wrong environment. This is obviously a tragedy, other dogs have saved their families in fires etc.

Over the years I have met many dogs who were from breeds with a bad reputation who were well trained, happy and friendly including a couple of pitbulls, I have also met dogs from traditional pet breeds that were badly trained or really just not quite right temperament wise and needed to be something other than a pet. The owners make the dog what it is in most if not quite all cases. In the same way guns only kill people when there is a human at the trigger end if you don't handle a dog correctly you can either deliberately or inadvertently weaponise it. Current favourite local dog is a lovely American bulldog, boxer cross that looks a bit like a pitbull thinks she is a teddy bear.
Seems like Tweety is a cat man, as this is the second time he's used a tragedy to attempt to wind up dog lovers.
He's got issues.

The 'not quite all cases' is right. Dog lovers so often attach no blame whatsoever to dogs, but I don't think they're right. Various breeds of dog do display specific traits - that's why Border Collies make good sheep dogs. Even if they're not trained the instinct is there. When people are killed by dogs those dogs are invariably Staffie-like breeds.

Sory Naomi, but I can't agree with you about Staffies a breed which is not as being aggressive.
