My heart skipped a beat when I seen this. We are going to Costa del Sol end of month!
It wad just north of Benidorm. We are going to Benalmadena.
One poor woman was bit on the leg. Could have been a lot worse. Luckily it was caught quite quickly.
You don't expect a wild boar to come charging at you whilst sun bathing on holiday, do you? Honestly, you can't make it up!

I think it's been over sensationalised. It's most likely the boar crashed into the woman accidentally and probably snapped in fear. That's not normal behaviour and they are not usually on the beach either.

Yes, it was probably just scared & bumped into her. Apparently, it ran out the sea.

Wild boars occupy many European countries.I have seen them in the forests in Italy.

There is thought to be 4000 wild boar in the UK, although they should really be called feral as they were reintroduced several hundred years after they became extinct. I have seen them often around Ross
