Bbc Or Itv Play From The Late 70'S / Early 80'S. Young Offenders On Roller-Skates.
Can anyone else around their mid to late 50's remember a TV play (might have been 'Play for Today'), about young Teenage offenders who, as part of their rehabilitation, had to spend all day Roller-Skating around an indoor rink? From what I remember, an new offender joined the others, and made friends with another lad, who all he ever spoke about was was Antique Furniture (Chippendale, etc), and he had in his possession a Woodwork tool, which he ended up using to slash his wrists while skating and talking to the new lad. I want to say the actor was Perry Benson, but I've checked his Wikipedia page and can't see he was in anything of this description. Programme was aired late 70's or poss early 80's.
