Talking Of Delivering....

Do Lidl do deliveries? I'm looking to cut back on my grocery spending and I've shopped in Lidl a number of times so know a lot of the products. I checked the Aldi website and they now do deliveries but I've hardly shopped there due to location so not familiar with their stuff. Are they similar?

I prefer Aldi for most things. An attraction with (our) Lidl is that they do some in-store baking, so specialist breads & pastries.

Prob I do 80% Aldi v 20% Lidl

I'm in Surrey, Zacs. I don't have a Lidl anywhere near me and I work full-time. I usually get tesco deliveries but need a cheaper alternative given the rises.

i thought aldi only did in store collection, not delivery?

A large family local to me get regular deliveries from Iceland (the store not the country!). Good value if they have the stuff you want.

That's a bummer, they only do click & collect! Just did a postcode check and as Bednobs says, delivery is not available.

the reason they can keep their prices lower is to work on the model they have - if they added home delivery the prices would rise.
I HATE food shopping and we eat the same things each week as i can't be bothered to change the delivery order for tesco, i just add all of last week's to the basket again

3 meals a day x 7 = 21 meals. You can produce a bit of variety in that!
