"By the end of November 2023, anyone working on a UK fishing vessel must have a certificate of medical fitness.

For most fishers the medical certificate you need is an ML5, a doctor-approved record that shows you are fit enough to work safely at sea"

Is this reference to 'fishers' to appease the woke society? They've been known as fishermen all this time and I do realise there may be women working in the industry but really?
