I later spotted the bat hanging upside down on the wall outside and two days later it hadn't moved so I plucked up the courage to poke it with a broom and it was dead.
Question Author
LadyCG, I had a bat in the bedroom a good few years ago. We decamped, opened all the bedroom windows and shut the door firmly. It managed to find its own way out.
Also had an injured bat in the garden, it couldn't fly. I assume it got eaten
Barry, it still makes me shudder now when I think of it. I got up really close to it, before realising it was not a bird.

The dog was useless!
