Try 'Britten's Old Clocks and Watches and Their Makers'. It's the standard work of reference, ( with the name of the first author of it in the title). It should be accessible via the library service. It is still in print, too. The British Horological Institute ( www.bhi.co.uk ) who certainly have access to it may well have more ,as may the local library and local history society for the Banbury area.
