My boss just promoted me, and I Have to do some online training, and testing. She said to please Finnish as soon as I can. Well, today I ran into something that I needed help with. She left her number in the email saying that if I need help then contact her. Well, I called her twice today, and she wouldn't answer. One part of me does want to call her over the weekend, because I feel that would be rude, but the other part of me wants to call her, because I don't want to spend the whole weekend bit doing training, then the next time I talk to her, I'll half to tell her I havnt done any training in the past 2 days. I don't think she'd be very happy to hear that. What do you think I should do?

Tell your boss to shove it!
Especially if you smell like a skunk..

Are you being paid for your time to do this online training?
Not knowing your relationship with your boss it’s difficult to answer. I could contact mine at any time and vice versa, but, only if it’s important. How vital is your training? I would probably be inclined to leave her alone until Monday.
She doesn't have to answer a text if she doesn't want to. Why not send a polite text anyway ?
Nah don't do it. Tell your boss you were decisive.
No
not urgent enough
the only time I have texted someone over a week end was when a writ/summons arrived on a Sat morning.

They agreed i was remarkable and..... suggested we speak on Monday

so - - no

yeah I think in office hours it is OK to txt her whilst you smell like a skunk
Bosses are very poncey about week ends and see it as their exclusive own time
You posted at 7:10 and you have already rung her twice today?

No wonder she's not answering.
Problem is, when a boss says ring me and then dont want to be rung.
I dont know how you tell

Dr Grayson of plymouth now decd 1980 said " you can ring me at any time. o god I suppose you are going to be on the phone all night now". That is the other side of junior doctor in the house. I said - 'that is most unfair' such was hospital life in the good olde days
I agree with 1ozzy.
