The Russians started this little spat in the Middle East to take the heat of the failed Putin War,Ichy.Thousands of dead Jews, thousands of dead Palestinians. All thanks to Putin and his puppets in Iran.

I imagine some show of solidarity is inevitable, and understandable. As far as it being 'provocative', well, that horse has already bolted.  Iran for one will still continue to supply Russia, and the US will continue to support Israel.

I don't know, but I would guess there's always going to be more support for Jews in Eastern Europe.  I've no idea what the size of Muslim prescence there is in Ukraine though.

'presence'

I dont think the anti-semitic attack on the Jews was even carried out by any Palestinians. This attack on the Jews was carried out by a bunch of Iranians. The Iranian regime, propped up by the Chinese regime.

Putin claims the West installed a Jewish Ukrainian leader to cover up the glorification of Nazism, and that Ukraine is a Nazi state pursuing a neo-Nazi genocide.

What says Israel of that?

Israel was supporting Ukraine diplomatically, but not supplying any arms - unlike the UK and USA for example.

Israel's stance was complicated by the relationship between Russia, Syria and Iran ... and now by their need of arms in their own region.

So how could Ukraine and Israel help each other much now, if not before? I don't know ... I would imagine it's more to do with similar needs and demands from the USA, in particular some of those Republicans who don't want to be spending any more money in those "foreign" wars.

Can you translate that into something less gobbly-gook,ellipsis.Are you pro- Palestinian terrorism or are you pro-Jewish?

Question Author

Just to clear one thing up: "Are you pro- Palestinian terrorism or are you pro-Jewish"

is a false dichotomy.

So moving on:

Israel has a delicate relationship with Russia: lots of Russian Jews live there: and many support Putin's regime. But the sight of Hamas in Moscow ought to bring it home to Netanyahu whose side he belongs on. On the other hand obviously Israel is in no position now  to offer military assistance to Ukraine. Especially air defence. Ukraine can offer moral support to Israel: the problem as I see it is that those who don't look too closely at either war may assume Zelensky to be a cheerleader for air strikes on Gaza and the attendant human suffering. Civilian casualties on the other side is something Zelensky does not have to worry about at least. And then there's the fact he's of Jewish stock: cue more antisemitism.
