I have just bought a new car
It is the car of my dreams an escort finesse in panther black on an x reg. The problem is it was ritten off in 2004 and the person i bought it off did not tell me i found out after doing a vehicle check on it after i bought it (i know i should have done it before) but hey when you see the car you love standing in the offering you don't think of that for 1 second.
The insurance company are asking for a full report to be done on the car (yes I was honest and told the insurance company) it was a catogary C and it was written off by the insurance company.
I have rang the person who I bought it off and he slammed the phone down on me so my guess is he knew the car had been written off. It has been through an M.O.T since the accident and passed.
What I am asking is has anyone herd of a full engineer's report? and what does it involve?
Thanks
