the UN's high commissioner on human rights has expressed grave concern over treatment of palestinian women and girls held captive by israeli forces in both gaza and the west bank

their sources (named at the bottom of the link) report abuses such as 

- execution of whole families including children

- rape and sexual assault 

- torture 

- abduction 

surely these allegations require an independent and thorough investigation? why have these allegations gone unreported?

i have never once supported hamas or denied their atrocities which is why you are incapable of giving any proof. i also suspect that you know this full well and that you are using this accusation to try and deflect the topic of this thread.

Special Procedures, the largest body of independent experts in the UN human rights system, is the general name of the Council’s independent fact-finding and monitoring mechanisms. Special Procedures mandate-holders are independent human rights experts appointed by the Human Rights Council to address either specific country situations or thematic issues in all parts of the world. Special Procedures experts work on a voluntary basis; they are not UN staff and do not receive a salary for their work. Please post my reply then.  It will give you something to do today.  I don't support violence of any kind by anybody.  What I don't support is the Israel government and their unlawful actions.  I said that 7th October was predictable, I also said I had a moslem boyfriend at one time and had lived in an area where there were plenty of moslems.  To lump all moslems under one umbrella is shameful.

What is happening now is shameful.  I'm ashamed of the support we are giving Israel to commit genocide.
