Hi I use Scotlands people to find family records for my family tree. You buy credits and use them to view documents.

Is there anything similar for Irish records?

I have lots of family from Ireland and wondered where I could search records of immigrants from Ireland to Scotland? Some were only 12 and came here alone!

advice welcome

By chance, any idea which port of arrival it would have been from Ireland to Scotland?

well, there's this

But remember the Scots had famine of their own, along with the Highland clearances, so many of them emigrated to America and the south seas. 100,000 Highlanders left the country.
