Sorry its behind a paywall
Looks like he's going with those spinny things that don't work and depriving Wales of much needed employment.

Yes, use wind and solar ( for over 20 years I have been demanding the answer as to why new-builds are not supplied with solar panels on roofs as standard - a small windmill on the roof would also help - but 'no')but for energy security we have to use nuclear and, my personal favourite, tidal energy. The tide comes in - the tide goes out. Barrages have to be designed to allow fish free passage - but once in place we have enough coastline to keep the lights on.
Trouble is that these options cost more. I despair!

For example, from the article
Possible revisions could still include building multiple SMRs at Wylfa instead of a large power station. Another large plant could still also be built elsewhere.
Great British Nuclear (GBN), the government agency tasked with preparing nuclear sites, is carrying out the review for Mr Miliband and is said to favour building SMRs at Wylfa because officials believe they could be built and switched on more quickly, by the mid-2030s. They are also considering which option provides the best value for money.
