soak 2 cups of all bran in 2 cups of milk for 10 mins.
add 2 cups SR flour, 2 cups dried fruit (I used 3 cups today..2 of dried cranberries & 1 of sultanas), 1 cup chopped nuts, half a cup or less of sugar. Give it all a good stir.
bake in a loaf tin at 170 fan for 55 mins approx, today it took an extra 3 minutes, probably because I added extra fruit so it was quite dense.
easy peasy, tweak it to taste with mixed spice, more or less nuts, different dried fruit, whatever you fancy, it's very forgiving.
