American record producer, songwriter, composer and arranger. Probably most famous for producing Michael Jackson's Off the Wall, Thriller, and Bad. He also wrote the scores for original The Italian Job, Roots and The Colour Purple. Multiple Grammy Awards and Oscar nominations. A true musical powerhouse.
