Definitely Irish, but it has to be a soft Southern one, rather than a hard Northern one. I remember I was staying in a backpackers' hostel in Boston last year and I was kept awake by a group of Irish girls chatting to each other all night. Had it been any other accent, I would have been annoyed, but I was happy to listen to their dulcet tones all night.
