I have read some stories about YSL Touche Eclat causing a red rash under the eyes...Do any of you use it and have or haven't experienced this?

Hiya, i use it but havent experienced anything like that.
Hiya, I use it regularly and its fab! Make sure you don't 'drag' the skin as its very thin under/around your eyes. Gently pat the liquid or use a soft brush to even it out.
Nope, never happened to me. It is brilliant though x
yeah i use it every day and have never had any probs

hi i use it all the time never had a prob, i think it great!

It happened to me, i broke out in an eczema type rash underneat and around my eyes which was painful, swollen, flakey and took a couple of weeks to clear up!

When i asked a beautician about it she said that it is because Touche Eclat is so full of chemicals.

I have since used the Benefit "Lyin Eyes" and the Virgin Vie "Out Of the Shadows" and had no problems. No doubt they are also full of chemicals, but just not the ones which I am allergic to!

I used to use it and thought it was great, although I now buy The Body Shops own version called Lightening Touch) which is just as good, but half the price.
Clarins do their own version which I find does a better job!

My skin didn't like it, no actual rash appeared but my skin went red and itchy, I used some on the little lines at the side of my mouth and it did it there too so I stopped using it.

I have had an allergic reaction to ysl touche eclat.
I used it for years and had no problem, then after buying a new pen I had a reaction - very red puffy under eyes turning to cracked dry blisters. As I had used it in the past with no problems I returned it to ysl counter for replacement , thinking I had just had a faulty/contaminated one. But the same thing happened again. I later read an article re a similar thing happening. I asked my local ysl seller re this and she denied any knowledge of this. I no longer use touche eclat. I do still use ysl lipstick/gloss and think they are great - no reaction from them. Instead of Touche eclat I now use the similar dior pen (also available in different shades) I have had no reaction to this. I hope you will read this before you have made a purchase because the reaction I had was very unsightly ( and occurred just before the Christmas party season)
