I'm 16 weeks pregnant with my second child and i always thought that with the subsequent pregnancies the 'bump' was meant to show earlier? I don't seem to have much of a bump, i can feel down where my pubic bone is that it is hard and enlarged, i assume that at this stage this is where the baby lies but as for my belly it's more flabby than enlarged?...I'm a size 12 so am not obese but i am concerned that i should have more of a round shaped bump than flab?

Thanks

it is true that a lot of subsequent pregnancies show sooner, but they can also not, if your baby is lying far back in your tum, with my first pregnancy i got a bump at 20 weeks, with my son i didnt get a bump at all (although he was born at 26 weeks) but he was always far back in my tummy, whereas with this pregnancy i started to show at 10 weeks, all pregnancies are different, and as long as you are well and baby is growing well then try not to worry x
stressed out dont worry one of my daughters is a size 8-10 and her first 2 pregnancies she hardly showed at all until about 6 months but however, she is expecting her third baby and is only 13 weeks with quite a round shaped bump.! your body stretches every time but prehpas you are not going to show until later.like she did. congratulations on your forth coming event and good luck.!
