Terrorists yet again turn out to be British Muslims. Their spokespeople on TV are already blaming the British government for this. Eh? Excuse me!!! They just can't take any responsibility for their own kind, and we keep letting them get away with it. Why. Oh there's some much we'd like to say but can't, isn't there?

Agreed.
You can't really expect any other response from them really. They have been allowed to behave and carry on as they like for years and this has lead to Muslims laying the blame at the rest of us for discrimination, exclusion of them and their beliefs etc. They are the section of society who has made themselves outsiders by their attitude to this country and its traditions. A large % of them have made no effort to integrate into British society and have been allowed to carry on as they please and been encouraged to do so in the name of "multiculturism". Unfortunately this leads to division and mistrust between different sections of society, instead of us all having a common culture and purpose we all pull in different directions.
What it boils down to is that the Muslim community thinks it can dictate terms to the rest and not be held responsible when sections of it attack this and other countries.

This country has done them a massive favour letting them settle here & this is how they repay the kindness. Why do they live here if they hate the British?
BBC News is already featuring interviews with 'community leaders'. It is indeed our fault. Young Muslims are feeling alienated, so they turn to extremism. We need to bend more to their views, try to understand them, build larger mosques. How about one next to the Houses of Parliament.
Hi Robertson
Where were the Muslims when the UN ( including Brits ) were getting killed by the Serbs whilst we were trying to stop the Muslim genocide? Where were the freedom fighters, where was the monetary support, where was the condemnation of what was happening.
I do not remember any Muslims thanking us for what we did out there.
Also why are the Arab Muslims trying to kill all the Black Muslims in Darfor.
Funny religion methinks.
Problem is that there are many decent muslims living in this country and they just want to get on with their lives, but because of these so called radicals they could well be caught up in a back lash they don't deserve.

Can't say anything about the Bar-stewards, can we ...that'd be racism.

If you think about it, political correctness has a lot to answer for in situations of this nature
do you in the 70s i was just a kid and my dad said see that man on the telly, when i looked this man was ranting and raving, dad said hes getting into bother for saying his mind but in years to come he br proved right i remember the mans name was enoch powell.
I can remember when we could all laugh at each other.
Two programs I used too love was Curry and Chips ( with I think Eric Sykes as Shop Steward and Spike Milligan as the Indian Worker ) and Love Thy Neighbour. Brilliant, Funny and no-one took exception.
The Muslim youth feel alienated etc blah blah blah.....

I'm sick & tired of hearing so called 'moderate' Muslims come out with this line time & time again.

Ban all Muslims from flying untill they start to take responsibilty for their actions!

how about Muslim-only planes, with presumably no arrivals guaranteed
It's good to see people actually making a stand and getting angry about what's happening.Britain's liberal stance is finally coming back to bite it in the proverbial! I'm fed up with these muslims and their taking advantage of our endless patience .If they don't like it, they should go back to their own country!Sorry to sound like someone from the BNP but that's the way I have felt since 9/11 and although it's called extemism, I haven't really seen anyone from the mainstream muslim community making a stand against what's happening.Like you said, we welcomed them into our country, and although you dont have to necessarily have to do what the romans do, at least dont bite the hand that feeds! Many other European countries have quiet contempt for the immigrants, as some of them so blatantly do for us.Britain has so many namby-pamby policies in place to protect them and yet after everything like 7/7 they still hold demonstrations.Tp put it plainly, they are starting to take the ****!They forget they are out-numbered , and these terrorists are eventually going to cause a lot of inter-racial riots.the young muslims should know that until now, we have accepted them into our society. If they want to follow their religion, we accept that, because we beleive in freedom. But if they want a jihad, they'd be foolish to try it in their 'own' country. They will be hugely out-numbered and will cause a deep ingrained contempt for anyone who professes to be 'muslim'

Also to blame are the politicians who took bribes to let most of them in here, with no consideration for the good of the country. Sadly, the problem has long ago been irreversible.
These people aren't truely fighting for Islam. They are sick and evil (although undoubtedly some of them have been "brain-washed").

The extremists (from all corners of society) use the fear of political incorrectness to scare off anyone brave enough to argue for what the majority of british people want - a fair society.

Unfortunately everything seems to work as a pendulum - there's never a sensible middle ground. Liberalism breeds anger and resentment leading to a more authoritarian society. That leads to a voice in the more liberal quarters and suddenly we're back to square one!

Every community must admit its faults, and stop hiding behind arguments of disenfrancisement and disillusionment - I get angry and annoyed about a lot of things but I don't blow things up or call for death! At the end of the day these people are either mentally ill or evil. They are not misunderstood. They are not young and idealistic. They are not alienated from society.

What we need is honest and open debate - not a debate fuelled by anger, fear or political ambition.
I do agree, so what's the answer?
I don't know, but I wish I did.

Unfortunately, extreme views make headlines, headlines inform the majority of the people that don't know the true depths of the issues (I'm not saying that I'm an expert on all things), this causes an equally extreme backlash and community leaders feel they have to fight back.

Take the Forest Gate incident... press supports police due to extreme pressures.... suspects may not be proven guilty... police accused of heavy handedness and of shooting wrong person.... report comes back to say shooting was an accident from close range.... press report that stress of situation could have caused problem.... "suspects" accused of milking the system.... authorities blamed for allowing them to milk the system...

IS ANYONE TO BLAME? Or, are poeple human beings who can make mistakes. Hindsight is the only exact science, lathough common sense doesn't ever seem to be called for.

I still don't know what the answer is, but I wish we could just speak freely and honestly without fear of being accused of stirring up the problems.
I dont have any fear of speaking up, its time people from the British mainstream population did.I am fed up seeing Islam supporters on tv paying no lipservice whatsoall to the country that has accepted them and this is how we are repaid for our tolerance. let's not forget these Bristish extremists are from extremely family-orientated cultures and you have to wonder, how long can these silent muslims carry on condoning their views, allowing their children to harbour and nurse this hatred in front of their noses?I would be very surprised if the BNP dont get a lot of followers after this.I dont beleive in any of their views but this has got me riled!
-- answer removed --
it's true with their religion and the jihad or whatever its called-the uprising against us westerners-is actually happening.the fact is, the ones who are less extreme are quite happy as we have seen in their silence, to let this go ahaed.you cant argue against religion and fanaticism.it looks like you cant live with it too.they dont have the balls to literally do it because they know they will have no chance in this nuclear age but thy are quite happy to **** us off, disrupt our daily lives, while living within a rich economic climate, getting their kids the best schooling etc.I am not a fantasist but I do beleive they think they can wipe us all out.Religious fanatisism-you cant rationalise with that.
Agree with Sandy about the BNP getting more followers. I hope they never get to be in a position of power BUT maybe if there were more BNP members elected, it would be the shock this government needs.
