Occasionally Bart causes pain to people with simultaneous clockwise and ant-clockwise friction on their forearm. He calls this an Indian Burn. When I was aat school it was always known as a Chinese Burn. Why the transatlantic difference?

Used to get them, and dead legs, monkey scrubs, Used to get 'Japped' too; [remember that?] Only Chinese appellations i know is Chinese Whispers. They all mean beyond the 'norm' as in French kiss, Dutch auction, French letter, Indian summer, Russian roulette etc, They don't neccessarily originate in these countries. :-)
