new quiz available

Thank you to everyone who took part in our Alphabet Quiz "W". A very good response again - 128 enties submitted.
We raised just over �200, thanks to you all. The winner was Mrs. V. Thompson of Billinghay, Lincolnshire (drawn out of five all-correct entries). Everyone who sent in s.a.e.'s will be hearing from me shortly, if they haven't already done so. Some posted off a day or two ago, some more will go off tomorrow.

The new Alphabet Quiz "Y" is now available from:

Price �1 each + s.a.e., or cheque for �1.32 made payable to WRAGBY SWIMMING CLUB. The closing date for the "Y" Quiz is Sunday, 26th November, 2006.

The "Y" Quiz will be followed by a picture quiz for Christmas, and the "X & Z Together" Quiz will be sometime at the beginning of 2007.

Jenny, can we order a picture quiz with the "Y" quiz,

I am reluctant to say no, because we obviously want to sell as many of both quizzes as we can and I don't want to put people off. However, to avoid mistakes and oversights, I would really prefer to deal with one quiz at a time. How about requesting the Picture Quiz when you send your "Y" entry in? I can include the new quiz in the same s.a.e. that I return your marked "Y" quiz entry. Hope this is o.k. If anyone does request both at the same time, I will do my best to keep track and ensure they get their Picture Quiz when the time comes. I'm a bit scatterbrained, you know! Must be me age...
