it could be to do with the whole conection of ear, nose and throat. i too am recovering from a cold and get a funny taste in my mouth as the cold gets better. it could be the smell and taste returing at a slower rate than it disapears. i also smoke though and this could also be something to do with it.
It sounds more like a problem with your sinuses to me, but I'm not a medical bod so please don't take my word for it.
My niece suffers with blocked sinuses and it gives her a bad taste in her mouth, and she has a bad smell under her nose at all times.
I better not be pregnant! I am a Miss but am on the Pill! Plus it's been a while if you know what i mean...... lol
Sinuses could be the answer as I do not smoke....
Thanks i'll keep sucking the mints for the time being :-) x
take some acidophilous, it helps with the good bacteria in the tummy and so helps with bad breath, you are probably a bit run down but it can't hurt.

Eash, that happens to me with my frequent sinus infections - in my case, it's post-nasal drip. When the infection clears, the drip stops and the taste disappears. So, unfortunately, it may be just a matter of waiting to heal. Taking acidophilus/eating yogurt is a good idea; probiotics are always helpful.
