Erection problems sensible answers only, please!
18 Answers
I have recently met what I would regard as a wonderful woman and is all I've ever wanted.
Things are going really, really well with us, and everyone says how great we are together.
Last week I stayed over at house 3 times and all was amazing.
But, because of my feelings for this girl (and I know hers for me are the same) I felt so much like I wanted everything be amazing in the bedroom too. And all was amazing, except I couldn't hold my erection for very long!!
This I believe is due to just how amazing I think she is, and I so want it all to be so right that I feel a little under pressure about it and performing. This happened all 3 nights!!!
We talked about it a lot, and because f the sort of person she is, she mad me feel so comfortable about it all and reassured me it was o problem.
She left for the US last night and is away for 3 weeks yes, I do TOTALLY trust her while she is away.
This has never happened to me before and I am only 30, so as you can imagine, a little worried about this. Also because of my love for this woman, I want all to be great and back to normal for when she gets back.
What should I do?
Is there anything I should be doing whilst she is away? (A friend who is a Dr. suggests no alcohol for the 3 weeks?! But I know this really isn't his field)
Even though I haven't ever had this problem before, I have tried Viagra in the past when younger but it didn't really work for me.
Does anyone have any SENSIBLE suggestions or thoughts?
Thanks

I think you are 100% right in what you say, it's just so important to you, that you're stressing over it. Relax, anticipate her coming home and just let it all come naturally (excuse the pun). She sounds like a great girl, so you've nothing to worry about.

the more you worry about it the worse it will be.my advice is that when she comes back, talk to her and arrange'a session'.this means, you both forget about penetration, concentrate on exploring each other, take your time, maybe using edible body paint or something like that(dont laugh) ! it can be fun and takes the pressure off.use your imagination and forget about 'penetration'.beleive it or not, a woman is more likely to be satisfied in other ways.intercourse is the icing on the cake and brings you closer.you can satisfy her in other ways, without going into too much detail.by the time you have concentrated on your woman without the pressure of erections thats causing you so much anxiety, you will soon realise that once the pressure is off, you're raring to go!
this happened between me n my ex when we first got together and he was only 20 at the time! we talked about it and he even spoke to his doc about it and it was just nerves. you need to relax and not worry. try more foreplay and exploring each other as suggested further up the thread, it works, promise!!! xxx

Thanks guys,
It's nice to know that im not the only one who's had this problem. And its really nice to know that you can understand about the whole liking her so much. She is such a great girl and i know that both of us are looking at this in a long term capacity (we've already been talking about moving in together in the new year!!)
Anyway, its not that he's totally dead - just not rock hard, and not for very long.
Does anyone know, is there any excersises etc. i should be doing. (not really sure about this one, but have heard that there are excersises women can do, so just ondered if it works both ways?!)

you're kinda young to have a physiological problem, so excercises wont apply.Anxiety is the major factor for men under a certain age for erectile dysfunction. If this is unusual for you to have such problems, I'd say you're like 90% of men(just pulled that figure out of thin air-educated guess :-)and worry too much.the fact you like this woman a lot and want to impress her is maybe causing you this anxiety. If you need reassurance, go to your GP and get checked for a physical problem.I'm pretty sure he'll tell you just the same as the other posters, going on your circumstances.Relax! she sounds like a nice gal.
