odd names for pets

ive been told on a number of times my pet names are odd
dose eneyone think so my pets names are maddison ,klondike,snagle pus ( snaggs) ,and spit
is it just me or has eneyone got odd names for they pets

My cat's called Pyewackett - but then as she's black all over, I think it's quite appropriate : )

We have a neighbor here in ranch country of western U.S. that had the usual Blue Heeler stock dog... he was named, appropriately Dog... Inevitably, Dog died, so the old guy got a new Blue Heeler pup... promptly named him Dog Dog... no sense wasting a good name...

My friend has English Setter called Ronald and two tabby cats called Squid and Schuey. Another friend has a cat called Darcey Jean, and she is always called her full name. I know another cat called Dulcie. My kitten is called Tuxedo but she's a black and white so not the most original choice.

I love to hear pets called unusual names. I feel so sorry for all the Bens, Tobys, Cindys and Sallys. I am sure they are loved by their owners, but how boring.

I have a Delia Smith (male!) and Ainsley, Top Totty and Tango. One of my GSD's was called Jeeves.

There is nothing wrong with the name Ben - we lost ours about 2 months ago, he was 18 and loved dearly. Our other dogs are names Stig (of the dump - he was a rescue dog), Merry (she is a very happy lively little soul) and our cats are called Mischief, Mystery, Kismet, Happiness and Ocean

I have a golden retriever called Daniel Nathaniel Bielzibub Wilderbest (he he he!!) and a cat called Maggie Moggy.

Daniel gets called allsorts though, Biddy, Bidimus Prime, Baked bean (cos of his colour), nupus, puppy dog etc etc. and he answers to all of them!!!!

our cats have been called: Sausage (female), Rosie, Max, Sam, Indi (as in indiana jones) & Kaiser (as in chiefs).. i have a hamster called Seymour too (i'd watched ghost world a lot).
My friend has a cat called Grizzabella.
Another friend has a dog called Tetley, some chickens named things like Sage (names for what chicken goes nicely with.. having said that they dont eat their chickens!), guinea pigs named after beers like Bud & Weiser, Guinness..

My cat is very boringly called Sam (he was Sammy when I got him from the rescue centre). Having said that he gets called just about everything but Sam.

Samuel, Munchkin, Feet, Freaky Feet, Furry Toes, Monster,Samson, Scruffy, Pumpkin Pie (he's the colour of a pumpkin), Pudding Cat, Mog, Mogular and many many more!

My son had a hamster called Elephant(now deceased). He now has a rabbit called Piglet, and two budgies called Jadey and Ted. I also used to have a great dane called Boddington. Great reading all the names people have for their pets. Although I do wonder what the pets think and would they change them if they could!
