A Chicken Brick?
10 Answers
Over 25 years ago I was given a chicken brick as a house warming present by one of my friends. It was a terracotta 'brick' ,sort of chicken shaped with a base & lid both same shape & size. You soaked it in cold water before use, bunged the chicken in it, lid on and into oven, no need for basting, for about 1hr 30min - perfect every time!
Then I lost it during a house move and I don't know where I can get another from now. The original came from Habitat.
Anyone got any advice where I might get a new one? Most cookware shops look at me like I'm daft when I ask!!
