Dont know about you but I'm getting increasingly fed up with this show.Basically instead of it being a show for 'new talent' as the public are lead to beleive, it's a clever PR excercise for big record companies new discoveries.Leona is going to appear on an American tv show next week, what does that tell you? receptionist my a***!the other acts who are through to the final already went through auditions before the show.he guy from brookside was a brilliant actor back then so i think the tears at the start when simon 'changed his mind' were just a stunt.anyway, personally, i'd prefer to see a regular joe bloggs literally plucked off the street getting a chance, instead of this cynical ploy to use x factor as a platform for rich record execs new talent.basically we're saving them a fortune in PR and lining their pockets at the same time by phoning in.will still watch it though, wouldnt it be funny if the scots guys won anyway.

Here Here Sandy !
we've all had at bit of a laugh at the expense of the record companies over the past few years though - Steve Brookstein, Shane Ward.... need I say more?
Tellin' it damn straight.

Where's the hunt for the new Beatles? It ain't being televised and judging by what enters the charts nowadays, it ain't being carried out either.
