I'm in the mood for a good romantic novel. Anybody got any suggestions? I want it to be a feel good comedy then
tragedy, I like a happy ending! Modern or classic, any ideas?
anything at all by georgette heyer, brat farrar by josephine tey, gaudy night, busmans holiday, dorothy sayers. sorry about the lack of caps, i am typing one handed while eating a calippo
I've heard "Come Together" is quite good ;-). Unfortunately, I read little out-and-out romance, and those books with romantic themes that I do read are usually of the bittersweet variety.
That's so funny you should say that LeMarchand because I've just finished reading Come Together and it is excellent. I think I've got a taste for romantic comedies now, that's why I want more!
i know what you mean, sometimes you just got to have a pastel-covered book (me and my sister labelled them ages before 'chick-lit'... although admittedly not so catchily).
i really liked Rescuing Rose by somebody Woolf (sorry cant remember) type it into amazon though. she is a really good writer, i've enjoyed everything she's done. steer clear of jenny colgan (bearable though) and faith bleasdale (awful, couldn't finish it)
