did anyone not drink lastnite?

Did anyone not drink lastnite. my wife was working 6pm till 6am and i was at a party, i didnt drink as i went to her work 2 bring in the new year with her. It felt good seeing all the drunken ppl making idiots of themselves thru the nite. shes not working 2nite so were going to another party and both gonna drink. 24hrs late but will be worth it as she will be there.

I've been ill and went to bed at half nine so no drinking for me either. Got woken up at midnight though by loads of fireworks and noisy people :-(

I didn't drink cos I'm pregnant but wouldn't have drunk much anyway, although I would've liked to have had a little bit of malt as a nightcap.

Been ill with a stomach bug for 3 days so i sat in with a bottle of water with my 8 year old daughter. Wife finnished work at 9 and i'm sure we were in bed asleep at 11.

No me neither, don't drink much anyway and can't see sense of drinking yourself stupid anyway. Much rather remember the night, have fun and laugh at the other drunken ppl. Last night stayed in watching the festivities on tv, with other half - great the see London having some fun for a change with all the fireworks on the London Eye, about time London made its mark with the New Year festivities (usually seen from other Countries). Spoke to few mates this morning to wish them Happy New Year and found out quite a few people didn't go out and done same as we did, for one reason or another. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007 to you all...

Happy New Year Everyone! No, Ratter and I didn't drink last night either! He was working 'till 8pm and we both really don't need to drink to celebrate! We had the company of our grandchildren and my mum and Ice Cream instead!!! YUMMMMMM!! Superb fireworks on the TV from London!!! Went to bed soon after though as RATTER was working again at 8am. I did not drink as I also recently had a stomach bug so had to be careful.. I also think that new year is so hyped up everybody just want's to get drunk and go mad... It almost makes me want to stay in and have a quite night.. I always think the best nights out are usually not planned....

i never drank a drop i babysat and let my daughter go out my little gandaughter who is 19mounths managed to pee my bed she was only in there a few minutes, and she had her tiny tears doll in the bed too which she calls mine baba and duly picked up and wacked me over the head with it so a hangover maybe not a bad head yes!!!!

i think its a bit sad that some people get high and mighty simply because other people want to get drunk and have a good time.

if the highlight of your evening is laughing at other people who have drunk more than you rather than laughing with them, then i'd suggest you loosen up and have a few more drinks yourself.

My 19yr old son didnt drink last night. He and his friends were invited to a number of house parties across a fair distance so he chose to play taxi driver for the night so no one was disappointed. He came in at 4.30am and said hed had a brilliant New years Eve, it really meant a lot to him spending time with his mates.
