Hi curlyperm, i got some 100% real hair clip in extensions from the Headrow shopping centre in leeds, for around 35, with 9 clips including to sew on - you can get the people to sew them on for you, but its easier just to do it yourself, its dead simple!!
The ones they had where i got them from came in 2 lengths i got i think it was the 12" inch long ones (i think!), but you can cut them to however long you like them!
The really good thing about them if you get the real hair ones is you can straighten & curl them, i have even dyed mine! (they were a strawberry blonde when i got them, but i dyed my hair a chocolate colour so i wanted them to match!).
I would think you could probably get some from a market or shopping centre in Manchester, because theres loads of hair extension stalls in leeds.
They are very easy to put in, you just sew the clips onto the top of the hair extensions then clip them in.
The people on the stall will try match your daughters hair colour to the extensions as best as possible.
i wouldnt bother going to a hairdressers as they will probably be more expensive, and its so easy to do that there really is no point!!
hope this helps! x
