Non-Nationalistic feelings in your land
3 Answers
I was born in London, brought up in Switzerland and moved to Liverpool when I was eight. My mum is of Liverpool Irish stock. I was brought up with Irish tunes and rebel songs. Neither I, nor any of my own, have ever as a matter of course been interrogated by the press ever in the wake of any terrorism perpertrated by the Irish. However, at the moment it seems that the press jumps on any one even vaguely connected with some sort of Muslim nationality. Is this linking legitimate? Should I and my family have been interrogated as Irish terrorists also in that case? Are the current muslim extremeists a worse threat than the Irish ever were?

The Irish terrorists goal was/is a united Ireland.
The Islamic Terrorists goals, are to convert or kill everyone who doesn't believe in their version of Islam,
To take over this country, let alone the world.,
I give it minimum of twenty years for this country.

IMHO - no they are not as dangerous - but the press is far more dangerous now than ever before.
Think about how many people have actually been killed by the IRA in the UK and how many people have been killed by Muslim terrorists in the UK
And the trouble is with the 'Muslim problem' now is that any race row suddenly envelops anyone of Asian origin (and the Muslims get the blame) - look at the Big Brother post below.

I'm slightly cynical about the reported worldwide domination reports of those dreadful Muslims. Therefore I'm treating your answer with a pinch of salt. If 'they' whoever they are, were actually powerfull we would all be in a society that didn't demand immediate identification of people when its police force asked it of them (doh!) ....
