tool bar

Hi i have a tool bar that i don't need but i can't delete it ,& i have a icon that keeps comming up on the desktop & the words from the tool bar are all so in my favorites i have gone into add & remove programs & msconfig but it's not there can you help

If you right click the icon then properties, see where the executable target is (ie C:\windows\system32\nasty.exe). Simple explore to the executable then delete it.
