does anyone know where i can purchase a pair of original 60s shoes.low heel with either button or buckle on front a la twiggy.have tried all over the net and ebay all to no avail.

If you are anywhere near Manchester there is an absolute great place called Afflecks Palace. It sells all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff. Many boutiques contained in the building are just dedicated to old fashion. I bought an authentic 1970s dress and shoes for under �40. They have lots and lots of 1960s clothing etc.

I have a pair from NEXT which have a button on them, sixties design. My mum loves them as she says they are totally sixties

I seem to recall my local one legged jockey having a vintage section.. with loads of vintage gear, including the most beautiful shoes ever :D if you have a local one, go have a peek just in case x
