anyone know where this is available?

my sister has a baby thermometer that says to clean with this but boots don't have it and apparently were a bit off with my mum when she asked for it - she certainly doesn't look like an alky! lol

i know it is pure alcohol and deadly but theinstructions say to use this or any of these -

ethanol
isopropyl
glutaraldehyde
alkylpolyaminoethylglycine
benzylkonium chloride
gluconate chlorohexidine
sodium hypochlorite (antformin)

any ideas of what and where any of these may be available

try the small swabs , they are individually wrapped used propr to giving injections, should be availabe at chemists.

I'd think surgical spirit is much the same, but check with the chemist.
