Hi all me and my girl mates are going for a girlie holiday in gran canaria in september, were in the resort called playa de ingles. If you have been there what did you think of this? also is the weather hot at this time of year? thanks

We went on a family hoilday there & i thought it was good. Lots of bars with drag queens but really good fun. There is a lot of gays there but i didnt have a problem with that. Have fun.

It will be scorching; I went there in mid-December once and still got sunburnt.

Just watch out for the timeshare/holiday club touts waiting to pounce on you at every street corner.

Hi,
I went there with my girlfriends 4 years ago and met my husband! So be carefull!! GC is the cleanist place i've been to (out of spain, canaryies, Ibiza,Greece) The Weather is great too. The layout is different to other places, it does not have a strip as such but lots of themed shopping centres. Irish and Gay are the two best and biggest. There are shopping centres during the day then bars and clubs at night, great atmosphere. The beach is down a steep flight of stairs but worth it, If you decide to skinny dip at night be carefull because at night there is Cockroaches on the beach that can crawl into your clothes! Have fun
